Technology behemoth NVIDIA Corporation NVDA commenced its highly anticipated GTC 2024 event, where the spotlight shines on artificial intelligence’s transformative journey.

Rendering his musings on AI during a keynote speech on Monday, here’s what Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang had to convey.

Setting the Stage: Labeling GTC as the ultimate hub for developers across diverse domains to connect, Huang opened the show by underscoring his dedication to math, science, algorithms, and computers, jokingly disclaiming any musical performance.

“This symposium draws participation from some truly remarkable enterprises,” expressed Huang.

The CEO lauded the extensive representation of non-IT industries at GTC 2024, highlighting that the gathering encapsulated a colossal $100 trillion of global industries in one room.

“A significant shift is underway, a profound transformation is unfolding across the industry,” affirmed Huang.

Portraying the computer as today’s paramount tool, Huang stressed its pervasive impact across all sectors.

While Huang and Nvidia foresaw technological progress on the horizon, the CEO pointed out how ChatGPT captivated consumers’ imagination, heralding the rise of generative AI and the dawn of a new era in 2023.

“This software realm was hitherto uncharted,” Huang remarked.

Spotlighting the birth of a fresh category, Huang elucidated how market share was organically carved out, culminating in the inception of trailblazing entities such as AI factories.

“A nascent industry has come to fruition,” proclaimed Huang.

“I’ve got nothing but love for Nvidia,” Huang expressed. “Accelerated computing is the present reality.”

Emphasizing that general-purpose computing has hit a plateau, Huang stated that accelerated computing holds the key to the future.

“The ramifications are nothing short of profound,” emphasized Huang.

Huang disclosed that Ansys ANSS, Synopsys SNPS, and Cadence Design System CDNS were Nvidia collaborators, striving to usher “the world into the era of accelerated computing” through a supercomputer’s construction.

Recognizing the growing demands of artificial intelligence, Nvidia acknowledged the necessity for larger GPUs to facilitate this expansion.

Introducing the highly anticipated Blackwell, Huang hailed it as a “quantum leap forward.”

A promotional video portrayed Blackwell as “the driving force behind the next industrial revolution,” slated to supercharge generative AI.

“Blackwell transcends a mere chip; it signifies a paradigm shift,” elucidated Huang.

Huang underscored Blackwell’s prowess and its potential to fuel generative AI advancements.

“This is nothing short of miraculous,” Huang emphasized.

In a span of eight years, Nvidia has spiked AI compute power by an exponential 1,000 times, Huang unveiled.

Huang proceeded to unveil the NVLink Switch Chip in a presentation slide, a breakthrough technology poised to propel AI to greater heights in the future.

NVDA Stock Performance: Nvidia’s shares capped the day 0.7% higher at $884.55 on Monday, within a 52-week trading spectrum spanning from $233.60 to $974.00.
