Since its inception in 2014, the festival has captivated audiences from over 120 countries, presenting more than 3,200 pieces of fine art and intangible cultural heritage, alongside 273 mesmerizing performances.
“The Great Qin”: A Theatrical Masterpiece Unveiled
At the heart of this year’s festivities lies “The Great Qin,” an immersive theatrical production by the Shaanxi Culture Industry Investment Group. Set within a grand 32,000-square-meter theater, this epic performance weaves a tale of ordinary heroes during the Qin Dynasty’s reign, narrating the struggles and triumphs that led to China’s unification. The festival’s lineup features captivating concerts where chorus teams hailing from diverse Silk Road countries reinterpret ethnic musical masterpieces.
