Tesla Inc (TSLA) saw a significant uptick during Tuesday’s trading session following reports indicating Italy’s interest in collaborating with the company for electric truck production.

According to new information from Italian news outlet Il Sole 24 Ore, officials from Italy’s Industry Ministry have initiated discussions with Tesla regarding potential electric truck manufacturing within the country.

Tesla shares surged by 5.8% to reach $182.65 on Tuesday.
